Write a conversation
between two characters from Brave Rowland. Remember to use:

Speech marks around the words which are said.
·
Punctuation inside the speech marks.
·
A new line for each new speaker.
·
A comma to separate the speech and narrative.
·
Alternatives for said.
“We have lost our sister Lady Ellen she went to get our golden ball from behind the church, stammered brave Rowland”, I came for some advice.
ReplyDelete“You have come to the right place”, said the chief warlock.
“What I will need”, asked Brave Rowland.
“You will need a lot of training”, answered the chief warlock.
“Now you have done your training you must go but remember if anyone talks to you chop of their head and don’t eat or drink ether”, said the chief warlock.

Then the chief warlock advised “there is one thing you should do and not the first thing is that who eve you talk to you must chop off their heads and you must not eat in elf land other wise you will never see your home again.”

ReplyDeleteThe hen- wife answered, " Here is a key and Lady Ellen is in the Elf Kings Tower where she is enchanted by a spell".
"Where is the Elf Kings Tower?", asked Brave Rolland.
"You have to go to Elf Land", announced hen-wife.
"How am I supposed to take the spell off?" whispered Brave Rolland.
Hen-wife described, " You have to defeat Elf King and he will do it for you".
Well done Oli. You do not need to use a comma if the speech has a question mark.

“What?!” shouted brave Rowland desperately.
“You have 2 things to remember. One of them you must do and another you shouldn’t. The thing you must do is to chop off the head of the person who talks to you. The thing you mustn’t do is to eat or drink” explained the Chief Warlock.
“Ok, I will remember.” Replied brave Rowland

"The king of Elfland took them to his Dark tower! ",The chief Warlock rasped! Then he grimaced "Before meeting lady Ellen in Elfland, there is one thing you must do and one thing you must not, you must chop off the head of any unfortunate person who talks to you and must not eat or drink once you are there! " Brave Rowland thanked him and left to Elfland!

ReplyDeleteBrave Rowland went to Chief Warlock’s cave.
“Please can you help us, our sister has gone missing,” asked Brave Rowland.
Chief Warlock replied, “Where did you last see Lady Ellen?”
“We were playing football and one of my brother’s accidently kicked the football over the church. Lady Ellen volunteered to get it. She was gone for a long while. I couldn’t find her anywhere!” explained Brave Rowland.
Chief warlock helpfully said, “your sister is trapped in Elf Land if you go there whoever you see chop their head off and do not eat or drink anything or you will never see home again.”
“Thank you, you have been extremely helpful. I will go now to find my sister,” Brave Rowland said thankfully.
So then Brave Rowland left the cave and went to his sister find his sister.

(As Rowland approached the cottage he saw a mysterious figure, doing something odd inside the cottage, and he knew it was the Warlock. Rowland pushed the door open because it was unlocked and walked in calmly and bravely.)
“I was expecting you”, sneered the Warlock slowly with a cheeky grin on his face.
Rowland explained the matter, “I need your advice to find my sister and my brothers. My mother is very worried about their safety”.
“I can help you with that. I know where they are”, the Warlock remarked.
“Tell me where they are so I can find them?” asked Rowland.
The Warlock sadly informed Rowland, “They were captured by the Elf King and taken to Elf Land.”
“What will happen to them?” Rowland questioned worriedly.
“Do not fret. They won’t get eaten or anything like that. Listen carefully. I only have two pieces of advice; the first one is that you should not eat or drink anything in Elf land or else you will not see your home again. Secondly, if you talk to somebody on the journey you must chop their head off”, the Warlock told Rowland.
“Okay, I will find my siblings no matter what” replied Rowland with determination.
“Bye and be very cautious, the Elf King is very dangerous too” the Warlock warned Rowland.
“Don’t worry I can take care of myself” answered Rowland.
(Off he went on his quest to save his siblings and bring back joy to his kingdom…)

“YES that would be a great idea”, replied brave Rowland.
“What sandwiches shall we have”? , asked Lady Ellen.
“I know what about cheese and cucumber or jam sandwiches”.
“Yes that is some great sandwich ideas”, replied Lady Ellen.
“OK now the sandwiches are done”, happily said Lady Ellen”

"Yes, Chief Warlock I am listening and I will follow your advice" replied Brave Rowland.
"You must not eat or drink anything before you save Lady Ellen and you must cut off the heads of any you speak to. If you do not follow this advice then you will never see home again" Explained Chief Warlock.
"I underdtand, and I am grateful for your advice" answered Brave Rowland.
Brave Rowland sets off to Elf Land to save Lady Ellen.

Rowland want to kill Elf king brave Rowland went to dark castle he saw Lady Ellen and two brother.Brave Rowland found a ladder he climbed up he saw Elf king and he said."What are you doing here".

Elf king wasnt ready to leave them they have fight and Brave Rowland won they went back home have a party about Lady Ellen return.
