(Titania puts her finger over her lips to signify no speaking) Titania: No buts Fairy 2: He's a donkey! Titania: So, I love him. ( All the fairies giggle) Fairy 1: Ha Ha Ha you love a donkey! ( the fairy do a dance and flutter off stage)
(Bottom turned to a donkey) Bottom proved to show he was so brave. (He sang a song) (Titania woke up) Titania: Do I hear an angel singing? (Titania lifted herself on one elbow and gazed at bottom) Titania: sing again. My ears love the music you sang. I am widely in love with you. Bottom: really? Titania: I can offer my fairies to help you. They can give you some food and you may ask them anything. Bottom: oh great! Titania: Peas blossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustard seeds. Peas blossom, Cob web, Moth and Mustard seeds: where shall we go? Queen Titania: fairies take ….what your name my love? Nick bottom: nick bottom w-w-w-w-a-a-a-a Titania: take nick bottom and make him ready for when I came back. He will be the next king of the woods Fairy 3: Yes my queen [taking nick bottoms hand and pulling him] we will. Fairy 1: [jump happily at the queen] you have found your true love my queen but what will King Oberon think of this? Titania: I don’t care how he will think of this; he is not the one I love anymore and don’t call him your king Fairy 4: look, look the queen has fallen it love… with a donkey [every fairy giggles but not fairy 1 and Titania] Fairy 2: look at his tail it’s so…. Titania: stop now cobweb [caringly], he will be your king and he will punish you. Fairy 3: sorry my queen Titania: and king… [Fairy 3 looks at the ground in sadness] Nick bottom: this must be a dream…..then that’s why I am a donkey w-w-w-w-a-a-a-a-a Titania: now stop the talking. Take him and make him ready. He must look fabulous for your wedding Nick bottom: what no I don’t what to marry you. [Surprised] w-w-w-w-a-a-a-a Titania: don’t be silly [There all go off stage with nick bottom by pulling him]
Titania: (pointing her finger) Take him away fairies feed him some sweet green grapes, juicy strawberries, a sprinkle of pomegranate and a bite of a red apple. All Fairies: (bowing) Yes Queen Titania. Titania: After he has eaten, lay him down so he may have some rest, with sweet dreams and you must sing him your lovely lullaby’s to put him to sleep. Fairy 1: Yes Queen Titania. Fairy 2: As you say Queen Titania. Fairy 3: Your wish is our command Queen Titania
Titania:I love your singing , please sing some more , oh please. Nick bottom: Ihee washoor nothee notoor singinghee. Titania:Thats it ! Sing some more Fairy:Look everyone the queen has fallen in love with a donkey. Everyone: he he he he he. Titania: What?!?! Fairy: Yes , look , he's a donkey! Titania:Oh , I didn't mean to say that he singing well. Fairy:Yes you did . Then why were you saying , Thats it , carry on singing. Titania: Ummmmmm I was hearing singing in my head [runs of stage] Nick bottom: Ha ha ha that was really funny.

TATANIA: Which angel hast woken me from my flowery bed?
BOTTOM: It is I. EEHHHH ONNNHHHH. [Peering from behind a bush Puck and Oberon were listening to the conversation.]
PUCK: We need to whisper or else they will hear us. But anyway behold the queen’s new love! I know it is a donkey!
OBERON: Ha Ha Ha, my queen has fallen in love with a donkey. Ha!
TATANIA: Oh love come hither and sit.
BOTTOM: There is little reason for a queen to love a donkey but love dost not follow reasons. ONH.
TATANIA: True, but thee speak so wisely and thy face is ever so handsome so how can I not love thee.
BOTTOM: Em, I don’t know, because I am a donkey.
TATANIA: Fairies come and feed him with the sweetest apricots, cranberries, dewberries and mulberries. Take the honey from the humblebees and feed him some sweet apples.
BOTTOM: I pray only hay, water and the honey.
TATANIA: As you wish. Bring that instead my loyal servants. Cobweb you get the hay, Peaseblossom you get the water and Moth you fetch the honey.
BOTTOM: I thank thee. But I must be going and if I had any wit and wisdom then I would be out of these woods already.
